Q: I have been a newbie in this biz for a few months now and I have a question for ya. How do you go about chatting with the community on the boards about issues surrounding the Adult Internet Biz without sounding stupid? How do you know the type of questions you should ask? I mean I want to discuss about the biz a little more cause I'm tired of talking about other things like weather or sports?

A: Sigh. This is never an easy question to answer because adult webmasters can be cruel no matter what your intentions or comments. It's not that your questions are stupid or wrong, it's just that most times the questions you ask have been asked a million times before and adult webmasters are not very patient. My advice is to first find a friendly board. The Cozy Frog board is probably the friendliest around, especially to newbies. Another thing I would recommend is to pace your questioning. Try not to ask all of your questions at once. I know you're anxious to get started but when others take time out to answer you keep in mind, they are taking time away from their work. Always thank those who helped you and develop a thick skin.
