Ask The Professor
Q: How do you spam Search Engines? I'm not asking how to do it. I just don't know what that means.
A:
There are several things you can do with your site which are considered spamming as far as Search Engines are concerned. One is submitting the same site too often. You have to wait a certain amount of time after submitting before you can resubmit. How long you wait depends on the rules of the SE. Another SE spam is when you flood your META tags with too many irrelevant keywords. Only use keywords and phrases that apply to the content of your page. One more way to spam an SE is by submitting each page within one domain. You only need to submit your main page. The SE will crawl/index the rest.
