Yes, you are free to make your own content. If you are a legal aged, gorgeous woman with knowledge of photography, photo editing, and you have all the equipment and tools to put yourself on the web, then by all means, save some money and make your own content.

Most folks don't want to go that far. Most folks would rather leave the posing and picture taking to professionals. Most people would rather buy the content for their porn site.

How does one get adult content to put on an adult site? There are several ways to do it. You can order image CDs or you can download content directly to your hard drive. To get adult content, you have to go to an ADULT CONTENT PROVIDER. Here is a summary of the different types of content providers:

CD Content Providers

This type of provider obviously puts their product on a disk. When you buy from them, they will send you your purchase in the mail along with the proper licensing forms for you to complete and return. CD content is especially good for those with slower Internet connections because large downloads like video can be so time consuming. Since you have purchased this type of content, it's not necessary to advertise for the CD content provider. There will be certain stipulations put on your CD content. Some of these stipulations have to do with how many sites you are allowed to serve the content and whether or not the content can be altered.

Downloadable Content Providers

The downloadable provider has the closest you can get to "instant content". Depending on your Internet connection speed, you can get full sets of images in moments. Downloadable means that you fill out an order form on the provider's site. You agree to their terms, give them the proper credit card or payment information and with the click of a button, you're downloading content to your hard-drive. They deliver all the proper licensing and files through the Internet and your email. Downloadable providers (like the Internet) have lifted the adult entertainment industry from the civic and societal confines of the local porn shop.

Free Content Providers

Yes, you can get free content for your website. Remember though, nothing is ever free. Free content has a trade-off. There are many places that will offer free adult content for your site but to use it, you must agree to the terms of the free-provider. Free content means you will have to advertise for your free provider somewhere on your site. A free provider that offers images will probably require you put one of their banners on your main page. They might want you to put it on every page their images appear on your site. Some free providers require you have a members-only area in which to post their content. There will be many different TOS (Terms of Service) for each different free provider.

Lease/Plugin Providers

The problem with content is that it takes up a lot of space and uses a lot of bandwidth. It’s also tedious to take all those images and clips and put them on pages and upload them to your host server. It would be nice if there were a service that would do not only display content in an appealing fashion but also host that content on their server. Fortunately there are such services and they’re called Plugins and/or Lease providers. They do the work. They do the hosting and you pay the fee. These types of provider are great time savers for the busy adult webmaster.
