What happens at an adult webmaster convention? Are they invariably huge events or are they smaller more intimate gatherings? Do they really have naked models dancing in fountains of champagne?

Adult Internet types assemble in groups year round, all over the world. There are spontaneous get-togethers, more formal gatherings and actual conventions. The way one can tell them apart is by their size and scope. If the affair is scheduled for three or more days, has a show room set up with many booths representing many companies and is held in a large city, chances are the event would be categorized as a convention. If the function spans two or less days, hosts one or two small seminars and a couple of good parties, then a webmaster gathering is in discussion. If the occasion happens spontaneously or is planned within the expanse of a couple of days and involves dinner and a night at the strip bar, one would be talking about a get-together.

In this digital age and this digital profession an adult webmaster can get quite snap happy with their digital camera. They often post pictures from these events on message boars and sites. Conventions are usually sponsored by multiple large net porn ventures. A convention usually charges separately for showroom passes and seminar passes. Sometimes the seminars will be "à la carte" or restricted to webmasters of a certain level. Conventions are known for invite-only parties while at the same time and even night one will have opportunity to attend open access affairs. Gatherings will have seminars but as stated previously, they are more intimate and sometimes more productive that the larger ones. The parties are still there but they are on a less grand scale and number. Get-togethers are more about meeting at somebody’s house or a bar. Along the same theory of quantity, the number of big players you see will verify what kind of show you’re at. The largest porn companies primarily sponsor conventions. The sponsors, hosts and content providers who sign paychecks in the hundreds of thousands of dollars will attend a convention as opposed to a gathering or get together. A gathering will have it’s share of big players but no where near the amount a convention has. A gathering by nature of it’s size will allow you more time with very true legends. In the case of a get together, whoever shows up is whom you will see.

What kind of adult webmaster occasion you attend depends on the factors of your life. Internet porn types live all over the earth. They gather mostly in their own countries or the closest to their homes just as you would. Others will save their money and only attend one major convention a year or so. Yet others will maybe come to one or two get-togethers and not much more than that. Whatever kind of occasion(s) you wish to attend, try to attend at least one.
