There is a diversity of ways to sell -and be paid for selling- Sponsor products and services. These varied earning formulas are called Payout Programs. Most come down to a simple equation: You sell this much. You are paid this much.

In this lesson, we will learn about Partnership/Recurring Programs.

A Partnership/Recurring Program is one where both the Sponsor and Affiliate agree to a long-term commitment for every paying surfer. As long as the customer keeps buying, the Sponsor will pay a percentage to the Affiliate.

Partnership/Recurring programs payout a certain amount of money on the initial signup by your surfer. This first payout is the highest. Most Sponsors offer access to their pay content via a monthly membership fee. With a Recurring Program, the Sponsor also pays you for each month your surfer renews his/her membership This Recurring Payout is a lesser percentage than that for the initial signup.

In other words, your potential to make money doesn’t end after that first sale. As long as your surfer keeps renewing, you get paid.

Affiliate Webmasters like this Payout Program because people that buy adult memberships and products have already proven they are willing to spend money. If you sell them to a good Sponsor, chances are in your favor that your surfer will continue to buy. These Recurring Members are an easier client base than are TGP surfers or search engine visitors.

Naturally, it’s the initial marketing that will be the hardest for the Recurring/Partnership Affiliate.

You’re expecting your surfers to pay more up front. You have a lot of convincing to do and it doesn’t stop just because you’ve got a nice number of Recurring accounts. You have to keep marketing for new surfers because your members won’t stay members forever.

Some report that the average paysite member stays a member for an average of two to three months. You’ll get a few that stick for a year or two but that’s no excuse to become complacent in your efforts.

Recurring/Partnership Programs are very rewarding but don’t expect miracles. Practically all the Sponsors offer Recurring/Partnership Program. Just because some site owner decides to open an Affiliate Program, that doesn’t always mean they have a long-term salable product.

Remember that once you send a surfer to the Join page or Tour, it’s up to your Sponsor to close the sale. It’s also up to the Sponsor to keep your surfer as a Recurring member as long as possible. If your surfer doesn’t like what they buy, they won’t buy again and you won’t get your residual payments.

Make sure you choose a Sponsor because you believe in their service or site. Crappycunts.com might offer a bigger Payout to Affiliates but that’s because their member’s area is crappy. However, Boobybutts.com may not Payout as much in Partnership money but their member’s area is full of boobies and butts and your surfers are happy.
