Macro TGP
Lesson #11
No Such Thing as Too Many
Written By Titmowse
A gallery page can make you money. Sometimes a certain gallery with the right layout, content and appropriate sponsor advertising may make you lots of money, but a single gallery will not make you a living. Adult webmasters who earn their primary income from building and submitting galleries spend countless hours constructing, designing and attempting
to get listed on as many TGPs as possible.
While there is no standard for the number of galleries one should make per day or week, a good rule would be to build as many as you can build.
Most TGPs update their gallery listings daily. When they do, they move the previously listed galleries down that list until they are eventually removed or archived further within the TGP. In other words, your gallery listing (no matter how good) is only a temporary occurrence. Even if your gallery gets listed on every TGP you submit to, it will fall off
that list like every all the others.
TGP owners must offer free content to their surfers who visit daily. To the TGP site owner, their surfers are king and pleasing them is the first priority.
Making income from gallery building is a numbers game. A single gallery might get 85,000 unique visits in one day. From that 80,000, you might only get 100 of them to click on your affiliate banner or text link. Those one hundred clicks might result in only one sign-up to your chosen sponsor. This conversion of hits to clicks to sales is minimal but it's
a realistic one.
On occasion, a really good gallery might provide the builder a better sales ratio. Some webmasters have been known to sell as many as 20 paysite memberships from a single gallery. Twenty sign-ups is very good money but not enough to get you through a season.
A Winning Gallery is an Elusive Thing
Many webmasters still have not mastered the art. Colors, layout and content must all be placed on a page in such a way to make jaded TGP surfers open their wallets. Even a winning gallery design becomes stale after a while to surfers constantly looking for something new. Gallery builders are always experimenting with different designs and sales text and sponsors because they know that gallery perfection is temporary.
TGP owners and reviewers also like to rotate their submitters. You might find yourself getting listed regularly with a TGP and then suddenly not. A TGP receives literally hundreds of submissions weekly, if not daily. Rotating submissions from webmasters is one way they can be fair to you while still supplying the needs of their surfers.
You might also find trouble getting your gallery listed because the reviewer has already seen the content you've chosen for your page. This is not your fault; it's just a natural occurrence when there is only so much content to go around.
There are so many reasons why you need to make galleries on a regular basis. The most important being that your competitors are building like mad demons. Some will make and submit one a day. Others who have gallery building/submitting software can make ten a day. You'll also find that there are webmasters who pay the TGP to list their gallery in a prominent spot on the list.
The TGP owner themselves will probably build a few of their own galleries to add to the list and increase their earning potential.
If you choose to concentrate your adult webmastering efforts in the gallery building arena, you'll go farther and make more if you create and build as many gallery pages and you possibly can. Only with diligence and quantity can the gallery builder make their living. The adult Internet is a viciously competitive business and will not wait around for you to catch up. You have to take the initiative. You have to do the work. You are the creator of your own success.
