The problem with emerging technology is that it’s always emerging. It seems no matter how up-to-date your equipment is, it quickly becomes outmoded. Computer technology is going through such an emergence.

The computer went from a tool of science to a product for the mass marketplace. Because of buyer demand and industry competition the power behind the steel-box behemoth of yore can be now housed in a palm-sized unit. Almost monthly some manufacturer releases a fabulous new piece of hardware that’s destined to be obsolete in a year.

Adult webmasters are basically geeks. So many of us fell in love with our PCs and the World Wide Web. When we turn on our comps, we feel a warming glow, that is if we ever turn them off in the first place. We get excited at the electronics store and slobber over technology catalogues. For us, a gorgeous nude model is swell, but a hi-rez image of the newest Sony VAIO is just as sultry. More RAM and faster chips baby!

In a perfect world, we would be able to upgrade our hardware at will. In Nirvana, all adult webmasters have the finest peripherals, motherboards and cards. Our Monitors would be the biggest made and our broadband connections would transfer bits at lightning speed. If we led optimal lives, we’d own optimal hardware.

Hardware paradise is good and fine but if you’re living in a hardware ghetto, don’t fret. Someday you’ll be able to own the best gadgets and doohickeys. Until then, don’t let technology hold you back. The truth is, to become an adult webmaster; all you really need are a computer, a modem and an Internet connection.

The adult Internet is the ultimate zero-down enterprise. For the cost of an ISP, anyone anywhere can make money selling porn to perverts. You don’t need to buy the hippest hardware to get started. All you need to do is go find the tools at your favorite adult webmaster resource site. There you’ll locate hosting, content, designers, billing processors and a plethora of lessons and tutorials, which show you the true path to riches. If your measly machinery can get on the net and load a website, then you can start making cash peddling cyberporn.

The trick with any new enterprise is to spend money where it will do you the most good. For the beginning adult webmaster, the good money goes to purchases of a virtual nature. When you begin to buy, your money should go first to hosting, content, software and other adult webmaster services.

Remember your surfers are never going to see your crappy little computer. They don’t care how new and powerful your personal system is. All the surfer wants is good content on a fast server.
